Children’s Mental Health Week
From 7-13 February 2022 groups and individuals across the UK will take part in Children’s Mental Health Week. This year’s theme is Growing Together.
Growing Together is about growing emotionally and finding ways to help each other grow. Challenges and setbacks can help us to grow and adapt and trying new things can help us to move beyond our comfort zone into a new realm of possibility and potential. However, emotional growth is often a gradual process that happens over time, and sometimes we might feel a bit ‘stuck’.
As parents and carers, you play an important role in your child’s mental health. Check out free resources for families using the following link:

We hope your children will enjoy some creative and fun activities.

Meet Ollee – a virtual friend for your child
Ollee is a new app to help children aged 8-11 with their
emotional wellbeing.
School, friendships, bullying, the internet…
Some subjects aren’t easy for children to talk about.
Ollee helps families have those tricky conversations –
and helps you give your child extra support when they need it.
For more information on how Ollee works and how to access it, see information leaflets below:

The Children’s Code
All you need to know about age-appropriate design code. The code contains 15 standards that all online services – including apps, games, connected toys and devices, and news services – must follow in order to protect children’s data online.
The code applies to any online service that is likely to be accessed by someone under the age of 18 – even if they are not the target audience.
From September 2021, all companies must conform with the code.
