Early Years Foundation Stage

In our Early Years Foundation Stage, we provide a nurturing, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child is valued and supported to thrive. Following the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, we focus on developing the whole child through high-quality play-based learning and meaningful adult interaction.
Our curriculum promotes the seven areas of learning, with particular emphasis on communication and language, personal, social and emotional development, and physical development as the foundations for future success.
Through carefully planned activities, both indoors and outdoors, children develop independence, curiosity and resilience. We foster a love of learning, encourage creativity and support children to build strong relationships with their peers and adults.
By the end of Reception, children are confident, capable learners who are well prepared for the transition into Key Stage 1.
